GOING OUT Friday I was at my beautiful friend Helena’s 18th birthday party. I had a blast and it was such a good night.

NEW IN I placed an order at River Island this weekend and one of the things I ordered was this beaded headband with feathers. I think it will be amazing for the warm summer nights paired with a maxi skirt or dress. I like it!

I also ordered a, what I thought would be, amazing dress for my 18th birthday but when I unwrapped it the pearls, beads and sequins started falling off right away. What a tragedy! I’ve returned it and I’m now on the hunt for another party perfect dress!

Eventhough the weather was bad earlier (the sky began to lighten up right after I posted my outfit of the day, how typical!) I was inspired to take some pictures of the rain drops and I think they turned out okay. I’m not in anyway a professional photographer so please keep that in mind.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY What a horrible weather to be taking photos of my ‘outfit of the day’! It’s raining, cloudy and overall just horrible. Earlier today the sun was shining and it was nice and warm but all the sudden it changed. I hate it. I think a bit of rain can be somewhat cozy at times but today’s outfit was meant to me photographed in the sun. Oh well I guess it’s not the end of the world.

Another thing the weather prevented was going to a football match. My dad and I were planning on going to Haderslev to watch the cup-finale between Sønderjydske-FCK but we chose to stay home and watch it on tv instead.

INSPIRATION I wouldn’t mind having a home looking like this. Super inspiring for someone like me who will probably be moving away from home soon. I love the mix of new and old, feminine and raw; all the contrasts! I consider the contrasts to be one of the biggest parts when it comes to personalizing a home or even just a room. That’s how I want my place to be, personal yet stylish.
