NEW IN I finally got my hands on this lipstick that I’ve been eying for a while. It first came out with the Shop and Cook collection where it sold out fast. Luckily it came out with the Reel Sexy collection as well and this time I had the luck on my side. I love the colour and texture of this lipstick! How amazing would it be with tan summer skin and simple eye makeup, or even pale winter skin with a black liner. Divine!

Also, I was thinking about starting a new blog series called ‘Collection’. It’s inspired a lot by other bloggers but of course I would put my own spin on it. It’s just kinda where you show your collection of a certain item and tell which you like and which you don’t. So basically my advice on what to get and what to leave. At the same time it’ll also give you a glimpse of who I am – I mean, the things you own and like or dislike, tells a lot about who you are. Personally I like to read those kinds of posts and I would like to give it a shot at least. Maybe I will start with my Mac lipsticks? That would probably be informative. What do you think guys? 🙂

Earlier today when I was looking through my makeup collection I remembered that I was meaning to make a post about the two Urban Decay Naked palettes. My plan was to compare the two and show you them. Let’s start of with the original Naked palette.

The original Naked palette has been on the market for a long time and as far as I am concerned it’s still one of Urban Decay’s bestselling products. I can see why! It has everything I need to do a settle everyday makeup or a stunning evening look. The palette contains 12 dashing eyeshadows and you also get an eyeshadow brush + the famous primer potion. The eyeshadows are all super pigmented and most of them super glittery like most Urban Decay shadows are. But it does contain two matte shades which I can easily mix for a perfect brow shade. Super handy! My favorites shades have to be Naked, Sidecar, Smog and Toasted.

Here you can see the two palettes compared. They are both great palettes for both everyday and going out makeup and personally I can’t chose a favorite. They both have a pros and cons and I honestly think it’s a matter of preference. Which one is your favorite?

MAKEUP This was the stuff from MAC I was talking about in an earlier post. I bought a lipstick, the Viva Glam Nicky lipstick where all proceeds go to charity and a limited edition blush in the colour Flower Fantasy. I can’t wait to wear both products this spring and upcoming summer. I think they’re both great colours for tan skin and it will just be va-va-voom!
